Vata is the queen of the doshas. She affects all aspects of your body and mind. She must be treated so for she holds the key to many health concerns.
Karna purana is the practice of applying warm oil to the ears to pacify vata dosha. This ritual is beneficial for both Prana and Udana Vata. Karna purana supports hearing and has the ability to act as a buffer and nourish our connection with the space around us and allows us to go inward. Tilt your head to one side and place 5-7 drops or ½ a dropper full of this oil in one ear. Wait for a minute or so to absorb. Now place a small cotton ball in the ear. Repeat on the other side.
